This is a vintage 1930s wax tiara / bridal headpiece. The piece comes with an original photo of the bride wearing it. The information regarding the bride is on the back of the photo - her maiden name along with the groom’s name, who, by the way, was a policeman in Montreal.
The tiara is made of small wax flowers and wax beads/buds in white and pearl that are affixed to a wire frame with green silk thread wound around it - please note that it looks yellow/gold, but it is actually green. It secures at the bottom with elasticized bands. It measures about 9” wide by 9” high.
It is in very good condition with no wear or pronounced damage - this looks to have been very well cared for over the years. .
This is a wonderful wedding headpiece - nice to have the provenance to go with it......
